Spent the long weekend in Nova Scotia visiting family.  2 excellent jam sessions with my cousins.  We broke out all of the old songs in the songbook and sang & played & sang & played.  Did some original stuff too.  Great music.  Oh, and the mayor of Halifax served us dinner @ John’s Lunch on Good Friday.  How cool is that?  My cousin said, “That’s the mayor.”  And, I thought, “Oh, the mayor, as in the guy who knows everybody’s business.”  But, our server was actually the real mayor.  Apparently, he does this little volunteer stint for charity every year.  And, my cousin lives a few doors up the street from Sidney Crosby’s family.  yes, the house where Sid the Kid grew up!
