A must-visit site! – Brain Pickings. A friend recently introduced me to the wonderful articles collected by the site’s curator. You can visit the site to browse on your own or you can sign up for a free weekly “interestingness digest” that gets delivered to your inbox. The collected articles and essays are invigorating and inspiring and range from exposés on writers, artists, and scientists, reviews of books, and collections of evidence supporting a particular thought exercise or idea.

Brain Pickings is often my salvation on my commute to work in the mornings. I pull out my phone and glasses and hyperlink out to articles that carry me away from the crush of the morning commute, transport me to palace of creativity and inspired thought.
