I’m so excited to let you know that I’ve been invited to perform at the Kelowna Pride Festival! The festival and parade kick off Pride Month in Kelowna. It’s this Saturday, May 31st 12noon to 3pm in City Park, downtown Kelowna.

My set is scheduled for 12:45pm tonight on the main stage downtown at City Park. Lots of other fab music and drag artists will be performing too, including Fight or Flea Music, Aria Ready, Leo D.E. Johnson and more. The sets will be short (30 mins) and the schedule lively! So, if you’re in Kelowna for the Pride Month kick off, please stop by and celebrate with us.

Over my lengthy music career, that launched in my late teens, I’ve had lots of opportunities to be witness to and participate in big changes in society that have offered more safety to the Trans, Queer and LGBTQIAS2+ communities. It’s disheartening to see a reversal of rights and the rise of anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and hostility coming back. So, to me, performing at Pride Festivals is an act of love and an act of rebellion. It’s a way to celebrate who I am, who we are and invite everyone who’s open to it into a safe space where they can join in the celebration.
