Keep oil away from BC coast

I have to stand up and applaud Greenpeace for tirelessly working to draw attention to issues that could seriously harm our communities and environment. A week or so back, Greenpeace staged a demonstration in downtown Vancouver to educate us on the dangerous machinations of a company called Enbridge. Enbridge builds oil pipelines. They want to install a pipeline from Alberta’s tar sands through BC to a port on the north BC coast. They are currently petitioning our provincial and federal governments to allow oil tankers to ply BC’s waters.

Take a few moments to read about this on Greenpeace’s website & send a letter to our government. Greenpeace has already composed a letter for you. All you have to do is sign your name & click a couple of links.
