in my dream is a lover’s tribute. I was inspired by a piece I read about Jane Rule and her partner Helen Sonthoff and the grieving for love lost. I wrote a poem about loss and longing.

Ron and I were assembling a couple of songs for a friend’s themed recording party – the theme was dreams. And, Ron took the poem home one night and came back with this beautiful song.
