Victoria, BC videographer John Flatman created the music video for this new remix. The video was filmed in and around Victoria, BC. John created the accelerations in the video by combining long time lapse shots with video of me singing the song at 3 times the song’s normal speed. The effect is powerful and mesmerizing!

Here’s what John had to say about the video…

It was such an honour to work on this video for Kele.  When I first heard this meaningful song, the immediate imagery that went through my mind was the contrast and parallels of the natural world and the artificial world.  The film ‘Koyaanisqatsi’ was definitely an inspiration for what shots I was hoping to achieve.  A river of people and lights contrasted with a natural river and waterfall, all accelerated and flowing through time above our perception.
